RULES:

Women’s and men’s team competitions.

Category OPEN and category over 40 years old.

In the +40 years old category, one participant per team who is not yet 40 years old and who was born after January 1st, 1983 can be registered.

 

The organization may decide to group certain categories according to the number of registered teams.

 

A team consists of 3 to 4 players.

The playing time is a period of 10 minutes of effective play. The clock is stopped during dead ball situations and during free throws. The clock is restarted when the exchange of the ball is completed (as soon as it is in the hands of the attacking team). However, the first team to score 21 or more points wins the game if this occurs before the end of regulation playing time.

All teams must report to the tournament organization no later than 30 minutes before the start of their first meeting.

 

Women’s team competition (4 teams): Championship (home and away matches) followed by a final phase:

One 5 teams group.

First leg and return leg.

Thursday June 15: Championship phase first legs

Friday June 16: Championship phase return matches

Saturday, June 17: Final phase

 

Team competition men +40 years (4 teams):

One 4 teams group : home and away matches.

Final and match for 3rd place on Saturday.

The men’s teams over 40 are grouped with the OPEN teams. They will also be offered a specific tournament between them on Saturday June 17 in order to establish an internal ranking for this category.

 

OPEN men’s team competition and over 40s (32 teams):

• Round 1 : 4 groups of 4 teams and 2 groups of 5 teams
• Round 2 : Main tournament : First and second of each group and 4 best 3rd are qualified in 4 groups of 4 (P1 to P4).

The leader of each group play semi finals and finals.

Consolating tournament : The third-placed finishers from phase 1 and the best fourth-placed finishers play in a pool of 5 (C1) with a ranking from 17 to 21.

The others play in a pool of 5 (C2) with a ranking of 22 to 26.
