RULES:

 

Gender-neutral individual competition.

Team competition (with a minimum of 3 participants per company to be able to compete).

The tournament is played in 9 rounds, Fischer cadence.

 

Thursday 06/15/2023:

9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.: Check-in

10 a.m.: Round 1

11:15 a.m.: Round 2

12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.: Lunch break

2 p.m.: Round 3

3:15 p.m.: Round 4

4:30 p.m.: Round 5

 

Friday 06/16/2023:

10:00 a.m.: Round 6

11:15 a.m.: Round 7

12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.: Lunch break

2 p.m.: Round 8

3:15 p.m.: Round 9

4:30 p.m.: Medal ceremony

 

The classification will be established as follows :

  • Sum of points accumulated during rounds
  • In the event of a tie, the participants are separated according to the truncated Buchholz system
  • If the tie persists, the participants will be separated according to the Elo Performance

Each player has 20 minutes to play their game with an addition of 10 seconds per move played, the equivalent of 30 minutes.

The winner brings the result to the scorer’s table immediately after the game.

In case of a tie, the white leader brings this result. With no result at the end of the round, the result will be counted as double zero.

The team classification is made by combining the results of the 3 best participants from each company.
