RUGBY FIVE

 

COMPETITION DAYS:

Thursday, 15th June: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Friday, 16th June: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Saturday, 17th June: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (Finals)

 

COMPETITION PLACE:

Plaine des Sports – Colette Besson – Gymnase 2: 6 Cours Jules Ladoumegue, 33300 BORDEAUX (Bus: 25, 32, 37, 73. Tram: C)

 

 

RULES:

Competition by mixed teams exclusively.

No age category.

 

Participants in the Rugby 5s tournament can also participate in the Rugby 7s tournament.

A team consists of 5 to 10 players. At least 2 women have to be on the playing area.

 

The tournament format is determined by the number of registered teams.

Each match is played in 2 x 7 minutes.

 

Unless otherwise stated in these rules, the rules of the International Federation of World Rugby apply.

 

 

 

 

 

RUGBY SEVEN

RULES:

Women’s team and men’s team competition.

No age category.

 

Participants in the Rugby 7s tournament have the option of also participating in the Rugby 5s tournament.

A team consists of 7 to 14 players.

 

The tournament format is determined by the number of registered teams.

 

The playing time for each match is 2 x 7 minutes.

Rugby 7 is played on ½ rugby pitch 15.

According, there are no conversion shots and only tries are counted.
