COMPETITION DAYS:

Thursday, 15^th June: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Friday, 16^th June: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Saturday, 17^th June: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. (Finals)

COMPETITION PLACES:

Football de Table Bordeaux-Mérignac : 31 Avenue Gustave Eiffel, 33700 Mérignac  (Bus: 3, 30, 34, 38. Tram: A)

 

• It’s not possible to pay on site by card, thank you to participants to plan to come with cash.
•  For people who will come by car, vehicles must be parked off site and are not allowed to stay parking inside the site.

 

RULES:

 

3 types of tournaments are offered.

Participants have the opportunity to participate in all tournaments.

 

Men’s individual tournament and women’s individual tournament.

Men’s doubles tournament, women’s doubles tournament, mixed doubles tournament.

 

Gender-neutral team competition.

The teams can be either mixed, feminine or masculine.

No age category.

 

The format of the tournaments is determined according to the number of registered teams.

 

The organization may decide to group certain categories according to the number of registered teams.

A team consists of 2 to 4 players.

 

Individual Tournament :

Participants will need to confirm their commitments on Thursday, 15th June, before the start of the individual competition, for the next day’s doubles and team tournaments.

A team consists of 2 to 4 players.

Women and men will compete in the same competition.

Top 3 women and top 3 men will be rewarded.

On Thursday, tournament will finish around 5:30 p.m.

 

1st Step :

8 groups of 5 players. 4 games per players on 7 straight point.

Top 2 of each group is qualified for table A. Other will play in table B.

 

2nd Step :

Table A : 16 players.

Swiss-system tournament : 3 rounds, each games is played on 7 straight point.

A ranking from 1 to 16 is build after 3 games.

Knockout round : Round of 16 (1 vs 16, 2 vs 15,…). Set of 5 points, 2 set to win the match.

Table B : 24 players.

Swiss-system tournament : 3 rounds, each games is played on 7 straight point.

A ranking from 1 to 24 is build after 3 games.

Top 8 qualified for round of 16.

 

Knockout round : Set of 5 points, 2 set to win the match.

Play-off : 9 vs 24, 10 vs 23, ….

Then –> Round of 16, Quarters, Semi-finals and Final.

 

Team Tournament :

Participants will need to confirm their commitments on Thursday, 15th June, before the start of the individual competition, for the next day’s doubles and team tournaments.

A team consists of 2 to 4 players.
Tournament formula will be determined based on number of teams confirmed.

Morning : Double tournament.
Afternoon : Team tournament. For the team tournament, each event consists of 3 matches : Double, 1st single and 2nd single.
